It should come as no surprise that I’m a huge House Industries fan. But even I was shocked to see David Dodde’s screen print of this House pattern on an Apple iMac. Dang Dave! It’s obvious how super pro you are…but inquiring minds gotta know: Can you print on a pickle?!
Oh What Trappings From The Rich Tannins In Our Blood!

A bed made of old pickle barrels by Sundance (Robert Redford).

PTS is pleased, honored and privileged to be a part of the Latest Rosa Loves Fall Line. Not only is Rosa Loves run by some of the greatest people living on the earth (to which they would steadfastly disagree which is partly why they’re so wonderful…they also live in St. Augustine, FL which is a town known for hosting a ton of total rippers) but what really makes them so incredible are the stories and people they connect with. Their friend Glenda is walking a little better these days. Made is probably bringing in a serious catch! Members of The Sharkar Family are bustling through a Bangladesh market in their new rickshaw.
So when Mr. Fretto (Pro Designer & Major Dude of Rosa Loves) asked Mr. Petito to whip up a tee design to help raise money for a Magical Indonesian Garden of Sweet & Nutritious Treats, it was impossible to pass on! Illustrating (and eating) delicious fruit is a no-brainer (I highly recommend getting your chompers on some longans and lychees when you can, they’re jammy good!) Definitely check out Rosa & Her Loving Ways and I won’t be offended if you don’t purchase a shirt…totally understand if you’d rather save up your money to buy me THIS instead.
Thanks be to Anna Swafford for making this face, to Jared Swafford for capturing it and to Mike Fretto & Co. for all their hard work. Blessings!
After about 5 years and a few sleepless nights I’ve finally learned enough bare bone web coding to build the latest version of Tight Slice from scratch (with the exception of the blog which is powered by the inventors over at WordPress). It may seem like a small feat for some but I’ll put it up there on my list just below “Rebuild A ‘69 AC Cobra” (or at least piece together the toy model version which I unsuccessfully attempted in the 6th grade). Of course I couldn’t have done it without annoying James Sansbury, Corey Hickey, and Matt Gersting for all those years. In your collective honor, I will now type my very first webding emoticon:

Former PTS site lovingly coded by James Sansbury (now spreading his genius thick at Sprocket).

Last Summer while I was hanging with my Portlando, Floregon pals over at Seizure Palace I came across this rad comic publisher Top Shelf. I was immediately “drawn” to the content, vision and aesthetic of their brand so I approached them about working on a project together. Nearly one year later, here is the final product: Drawing Between The Lines, a documentary about Jeffrey Brown by Bruce Parsons, designed and screened by yours truly. Illustrations by Jeffrey, himself.

One major dude named Mike Fretto just sent me a link to Tugboat Print Shop based out of Pittsburgh, PA. This husband/wife duo are slicing up wood with some serious cutlery and craft. It just so happens to be my birthday so please order this Picnic Party print for me immediately! Thank you kindly.

Even though print design is my first love, I recently cracked open some code and redesigned Mama’s Sauce Blaug! Please don’t probe my back-end properties if you know what I mean.
