Inside a TightSlice AI Office Intensive: What a Full Workshop Day Actually Looks Like

The AI Office Intensive is the flagship training day behind Tampa AI for small business: one full day, on-site, built entirely around your team. Most training pages describe what a workshop covers. Here is what one actually looks like, hour by hour, so there is no mystery about what you are booking before you book it.

Two weeks out

Before the workshop even starts

A week or two out, we send a short survey to everyone attending. Not a formality: it is how we know your billing coordinator’s biggest time sink is chasing insurance pre-auths and your front desk person spends an hour a day on scheduling back-and-forth before we ever walk in the door. That survey is the actual curriculum. Nobody sits through a generic AI 101 deck built for a business that is not theirs.

Morning

The foundation, built around your team

The day starts together as a group, not split by role yet. We cover the ground rules first: what can and cannot go into ChatGPT or Claude, which tools are approved, and the one-line rule that makes it simple to remember (if you would not email it outside the company, do not paste it into a consumer AI tool). Then we move into live demonstrations, but using your actual tools and your actual sample tasks pulled from the pre-workshop survey, not a stock example.

By late morning, people are not watching anymore. They are working. Everyone has their laptop open and their actual inbox, their actual report template, their actual scheduling workflow, live in front of them, with a coach walking the room helping in real time.

Midday

Role-specific breakouts

After lunch, the room splits based on what people actually do. Front desk and scheduling staff work through appointment and follow-up workflows. Billing works through document summarization and data entry shortcuts. Office management works through report generation and internal communication drafts. This is the point where a generic training session would keep everyone in the same room doing the same generic exercise. We do not, because a receptionist and a billing coordinator do not have the same job, and training that pretends they do wastes half the room’s afternoon.

Late afternoon

Building the take-home

The last stretch of the day is not more new material. It is turning what people just learned into something they will actually use Monday morning. Each participant leaves with a personal prompt library built from their own real, recurring tasks, not a copied template. We also map at least one clear automation opportunity for the business as a whole during this window, since training and automation solve the same time problem from two different angles, and most rooms surface at least one task that should not be manual at all going forward. That finding usually becomes the starting point for a free AI audit conversation afterward.

What people leave with

  • A personal prompt library for their own recurring tasks, not a generic cheat sheet
  • 3 to 5 working procedures the team is already using by Monday
  • At least one mapped automation opportunity for a future build
  • A recording of the session, for onboarding the next new hire without repeating the whole day

What we check afterward

Training that ends the day it happens does not stick. We check back in at 30 days to see who is actually using what they learned and who quietly reverted to the old way. That follow-up catches the two or three people in every room who nodded along all day and then got busy and forgot, and it is the difference between a training day that pays for itself and one that becomes an expensive afternoon.

Who this is actually for

This format works best for teams of 5 to 12 who all work in the same physical office and want a single, high-impact day rather than a stretched-out multi-week course. If your team wants ongoing, lower-cost coaching instead of one intensive day, the weekly Automation Room work group is the better fit at $150 to $300 a seat per month. Full pricing across every format, including how the numbers compare against certifications and free options, is broken down in AI Training Cost in 2026.

Why we run this in person across Tampa Bay

A remote training call works fine for content. It does not let a trainer notice that your billing coordinator is quietly stuck on something she is too embarrassed to ask about on camera, or that two people at the back of a Zoom call checked out twenty minutes ago. Being in the room, in your actual office, watching your actual team work, is the same reason clients hire us for AI automation services in Tampa instead of a national firm working off a questionnaire. We show up. We watch how the work actually happens. Then we build the training, and the automation, around that.

Frequently asked questions

How many people can attend one Intensive?
Up to 12 people per session. Larger teams typically run two sessions split by department so each group still gets meaningful individual coaching time.
Do you need our tools set up in advance?
We work with whatever your team already uses. If you are not yet using AI tools at all, we help you choose and set up the right ones as part of the pre-workshop planning, not on the day itself.
What if half our team is advanced and half has never used AI?
That is exactly what the pre-workshop survey is for. We adjust pacing and split breakout groups by comfort level as well as by role when the gap is wide.
Is this only for Tampa Bay businesses?
In-person delivery is built for Tampa Bay, Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties specifically. We also deliver the same curriculum remotely via Zoom for teams outside Florida.
What happens after the workshop if we want to keep going?
Most teams either book a 30-day follow-up coaching session or move into the weekly Automation Room work group, so the skills built on workshop day keep compounding instead of fading.
